Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.As a Hybrid Cloud Systems Engineer on our team, you'll have the chance to shape the solutions on our U.S. Navy client's network by leading engineering and design. Your client will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team, you'll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like Cloud and IT Infrastructure.You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Windows Systems Engineer, with a strong focus on Azure, Hyper-V, networking, and security
  • Experience designing and building hybrid cloud infrastructure
  • Experience configuring and managing Hyper-V environments
  • Experience implementing security best practices for Windows and Azure environments
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, virtual networks, storage, and security
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • DoD 8570 for IAT2 level Certification such as Security+ and Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator (Az-104) CertificationNice If You Have:
    • Experience coordinating with change control and environment management, network, and security teams
    • Experience in automation of server deployment, common tasks, and installation procedures
    • Experience with VMware virtual server environments and configuring systems for maximum performance and operating flexibility
    • Knowledge of networking technologies, including managing Windows systems and applications running on these systems
    • Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
    • Ability to lead the Navy's IT Modernization Cloud initiative and develop strategies and tactics required by the organization

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
