Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Assessment Data Scientist to
develop innovative literacy assessments using advanced statistical
methods and AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with experts to build a modern assessment combining
IRT, adaptive assessment, and AI
Manage item development and standards alignment using generative
AI
Design algorithms for equating, formative measurement, and
analytics
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in statistics, psychometrics, data science, educational
measurement, or a related field
Experience in psychometrics and K-12 assessments, preferably with
CBM and norm-referenced assessments
Hands-on experience with EdTech products
Solid understanding of Bayesian statistics, IRT, and multi-stage
testing
Familiarity with Python and/or R for data analysis
