THINK OUTSIDE.SUMMARY: Sets up and operates CNC and Manual Rotary
Draw Benders to process and produce high quality parts.DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:Management may assign or reassign duties and
responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable
accommodation or other reasons.
- Loads and unloads material and parts, proves programs, operates
controls, sets bend angles for parts being produced.
- Conducts quality checks using appropriate measurement tools
(calipers, tapes, height gages, check fixtures etc.) to ensure
parts produced match requirements.
- Reads and understands the production order. Uses that
information to run the correct parts and quantities
- Fills out all tracking sheets and make sure jobs are
complete.
- Minor machine maintenance if necessary.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
Follows machine maintenance and area cleanup.
- Follows company safety protocol and procedures, such as wearing
proper PPE as dictated by the machine being used, reporting safety
incidents and accidents, etc.
- Minor machine maintenance as necessary.
- Consistently achieves or exceeds operational volume and quality
goals. Looks for areas to improve and makes suggestions to
supervisor.
- Follows the attendance policy in a strict
manner.QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-3 years related experience or equivalent.
- Can use basic shop and hand tools safely and with
proficiency.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal
instructions. Ability to read and comprehend work orders and
product drawings. Must be able to do basic arithmetic.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with general supervision.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards, versatility,
flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing
priorities with enthusiasm.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary
language(s) used in the workplace.PHYSICAL/MENTAL
REQUIREMENTS:While performing the duties of this job, the employee
is frequently required to do the following:
- Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
- Frequent heavy and demanding physical labor.
- Must be able to perform constant repetitive motion and stand
for 8 hours a day.
- May be required to work overtime or weekends.WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- A large percentage of work time is spent in a production
warehouse where temperatures range from warm to cool and noise
level can be moderate to high.The salary range for California is
$17.42 per hour to $19.09 per hour. Individual salaries within
those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors
including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge,
