Job Description:
Position Overview:The Marriage and Family Therapist or Clinical
Social Worker is responsible for providing direct psychological
clinical services to injured workers through various modalities,
including initial assessments, case management, psychoeducation,
movement classes, and individual and group psychotherapy. The
caseload typically includes individuals experiencing chronic pain
and trauma, with predominant concerns related to anxiety,
depression, and physical functioning.Additionally, this position
collaborates with the clinical team to assess current treatment,
identify opportunities for improvement, and actively participates
in multi-disciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
Therapists work closely with the pain management team to ensure the
delivery of high-quality clinical services.Therapists provide
services reimbursable by Worker's Compensation and/or other
insurance, depending on the rehabilitation service provided. The
role involves completing both clinical and administrative
documentation required by the respective entities.Key
Responsibilities:Provide individual therapy to adult clients in an
outpatient pain clinic.Conduct weekly psychoeducational class
sessions for individuals attending the outpatient daily Functional
Restoration Program (FRP) at the clinic/via telemedicine.Provide
brief individual therapy to individuals in the FRP and evaluate
their clinical progress in the program.Perform Assessment and
treatment planning for active caseload.Provide clinical care
informed by best practices in the field of pain psychology.Refer to
other modalities within the clinic as needed.Document all client
care in our EMR system.Provide clinical care that complies with all
the legal and ethical standards.QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:California Licensed Clinical Social WorkerORLicensed
Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist REQUIREMENTS:EMDR certified
preferred.Experience in assessment and treatment of patients with
chronic pain conditions preferred.Experience with
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and
Mindfulness-oriented interventions preferred.Trauma background with
ability to do EMDR is a plus.Familiarity working with chronic
pain/trauma population, an integrated therapeutic approach is a
plus.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to
establish rapport with patients, families, professionals, and
co-workers.Able to work with patients using sound judgment.An
attitude of excellence in providing quality patient
care.Compensation Range:$95,000.00 to $120,000.00 AnnualAll
compensation ranges are posted based on internal equity, job
