Job Description:

• Certification Details
• MANDATORY: CA License, BLS, PALS, PICU experience
• PEDS experience required, although not necessarily within a dedicated Children's facility
  • Job Details
  • Registered Nurse (RN) position available
  • Travel/Contract employment type
  • 13-week contract length
  • Job requires working 2 out of 3 holidays (No Thanksgiving or Christmas RTO allowed)
  • Shifts: 3x12 variable - must be flexible to work days or nights
  • Patient Ratio: 1:1 to 1:2
    • Job Requirements
    • CA license
    • 2 full years of recent independent PICU experience
    • PICU experience must be within the last year
    • Willing to float between units (CVPICU & NICU)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
    • Experience in ventilators, multiple monitors, CVP, and EKG
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts are 3x12 hours, variable shifts requiring flexibility with days or nights
      • Must work 2 out of 3 holidays
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Will float between units: CVPICU & NICU
        • Unit Profile: High acuity including respiratory failure, shock, multi-system failure, and more
          • Additional Details
          • Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested
          • High acuity unit includes conditions like injury, respiratory failure, shock, and more
          • Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice
          • Orientation Information will be provided
